The Alameda

785 The Alameda is a transit oriented mixed use project in the heart of San Jose.  It is adjacent to Diridon Station, the transit hub of Northern California, SAP center, the home of the Sharks and downtown San Jose.  The project is next door to a brand new Whole Foods with one of their first on site brew pubs.

The project is currently under construction with completion expected in late 2017.  There will be 168 high end residential units over 22,000 square feet of retail and commercial space.   Transit oriented features will include in unit bike storage, a community bike maintenance center and charging stations for electric cars.  Amenities and finishes will be state of the art.

Diridon Station is the hub of the VTA light rail system, Caltrain and the VTA bus system.  It is also the Silicon Valley stop for Amtrak and the Altamont Express.  It is a future stop for both BART and the first phase of the High Speed Rail system.

The Alameda is the oldest road in California dating from the late 1700’s.  Historic mansions have been converted to professional offices and the boulevard is transitioning to a vibrant food and retail district between the historic Rose Garden and Shasta Hanchett neighborhoods and the downtown.
